Barfutura is a creative studio located in the heart of Madrid which opened its doors for business back in 2003.

Sergio González Kuhn
Founder / Creative Director
Sergio moved to New York City to study graphic design at the Pratt Institute. During his four years in the city, he combined his studies with extensive experience in interactive design for important New York firms. In 2001 he moved to Japan to gain experience in Asian markets, joining Ashley Associates in Tokyo. This allowed him to expand his knowledge of printing and interactive, working with major Japanese brands. Sergio returned to Madrid in 2003 and created Barfutura. His passion for culture and mainly cinema, makes him specialise in the audiovisual sector where he works for important national and international platforms and production companies. He also teaches graphic design classes at different schools in Spain.
The Café
We believe that research, experimentation and constant curiosity are essential to grow professionally.
For this reason we spend much of our time looking for new ways to connect with other creatives to enrich and motivate each other.
To achieve this objective we have created Barfutura_cafe, an open and friendly environment where we develop workshops and a variety of cultural events that promote this need.
