Sergio González Kuhn

Founder / Creative Director

After finishing his studies at the Lycée Français de Madrid, Sergio moved to New York City to study graphic design at the Pratt Institute. During his four year stay in the city, he combined his studies with wide-ranging experience in interactive design work for leading New York firms. In 2001 he moved to Japan in order to gain experience in Asian markets, joining Ashley Associates in Tokyo. This allowed him to broaden his print and interactive knowledge, working with major Japanese brands. Sergio then returned to Madrid in 2003 and set up Barfutura.
He also teaches graphic design at various different schools in Spain.

Borja Muñoz

Art Director / Filmaker

After finalizing Media Communication and got a specialization in Digital Compositing, Borja started working for small film companies as a Graphic Designer and Post Production Assistant, where he began to develop a passion for film poster designing. He worked a four year span as a Graphic Designer, Filmaker and Video Editor for national political parties during official campaigns and at the same time collaborated with film companies such as Dada Entertainment, Red Carpet, Flooxer or Atresmedia, designing film posters and developing sales documents. He then decided to move on and keep improving in the publicity sector, being an Art Director, Graphic Designer and Filmaker for WPP during three years for brands such as Schweppes, Merrel, Axe, Fox or Universal.

Noa Uxia

Designer / Illustrator

Noa Uxia Rodriguez Noguerol is a graphic designer, illustrator and visual artist based in Madrid. In 2018 she graduated after getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at The European Design Institute (IED). After graduating she worked mostly as a graphic content creator for social media at different companies. In 2019 she joined the post-production design studio USERT38, where she worked as a poster designer, editorial designer and art director. Simultaneously, she’s been advancing her artistic career, as she’s been working as a Freelance Illustrator, and got a scholarship by the Serlachius Art Residence.

Patricia Raventós

Designer / Identity

After two years studying Fashion Design at Felicidad Duce School in her home town of Barcelona, Patricia decided to professionally focus on graphic design. She moved to Madrid in 2007 after completing a Master degree in graphic and web design. Since then she has been freelancing, working on different design projects while expanding her typography and illustration skills. Patricia has also completed her Advertising and Public Relations studies at the Open University of Catalonia.

Daniela Ruiz

Project Manager

A writing enthusiast, book enthusiast and dilettante. She is passionate about cultural management -it is her profession and what she does best-. She has been a member of the team of the Citizen Observatory of Jalisco, where she collaborated in projects related to social welfare and appropriation of public space. In February 2018 she moved to Madrid and since then her favorite topics have been the promotion of active leisure and creative thinking. With this focus as her center, she has worked on projects of different advertising and audiovisual formats for production companies and creative schools, as well as on educational programs for universities in the United States and Spain.

Elena Ardao

Event Manager

Elena Ardao, graduated in plastic arts from the SUR school founded by the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the Fábrica in Madrid. Her passion for photography led her to take the PhotoEspaña 2018 Master. She has exhibited in places such as El Círculo de Bellas Artes (Madrid 2017), Bastardo Hostel (Madrid 2019), Foto Zurich (2019), Residencia Cantera Tabacalera (Madrid 2019), Artistic Residence at the Centro de las Artes de San Agustín Etla (Oaxaca , Mexico 2020). She also collaborates as an illustrator with textile brands and exhibits her work in galleries such as the Botanical Garden of Madrid.

Pedro González Kuhn

New Business Manager

Pedro is a director and producer based in Los Angeles. He started out working as an Assistant Director and has credits on almost 20 films. In 2013, he set up the production company Sintagma Films, through which vehicle he has directed and produced a number of projects for the cinema as well as advertising. Pedro’s first short film “The Gran Dis-Illusion”, won him a Goya Award Nomination and was selected in official competition in more than 50 international festivals. He recently completed his first documentary film as a producer, “Delicate Balance”.
