Design Walk – Madrid
Year: 2011
Client: Barfutura
Design Walk is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the world of design through guided tours of a chosen city’s most representative studios. Over the course of a week, on five different walking tours, we visit a total of twenty-five studios, which open their doors to professionals, students and entrepreneurs alike for the day.
After the success of the first of these events in Madrid in October 2011, Valencia hosted the second Design Walk in May the following year, which resulted in a sell-out in both cases. This project was conceived and executed by Barfutura with the aim in mind of linking up people in the design sector and thereby contribute to consolidating a creative network. Given the growth of digital communications, Design Walk is a project geared to maintaining personal working relationships in a direct and natural fashion.
Various materials were designed to promote the evet including the poster/leaflet, website, silkscreened bag and badges.
